Getting Around
It is our mission to assist churches in their task of fulfilling the Great Commission. To accomplish this goal, we are organized into three main divisions; Multiplying Churches, Maturing Churches, and Mobilizing Churches. These 'Three Ms' are focused on church planting, church health, and missions, respectively.
Our website is structured in much the same way. Information about church planting can generally be found in Multiplying Churches; events and church growth information can be found in Maturing Churches; and missions projects, partnerships, and offerings can be found in Mobilizing Churches.

Ministry Regions
Geographically, the SBC of Virginia is divided into five Ministry Regions. Our missionaries live throughout these regions and work with the churches in their region. We call this our decentralized approach. We believe in working from the ground up, hand-in-hand with neighbors and local churches rather than from some central, overhead position.

Empowered
Empowered is the online video ministry of our executive director, Dr. Jeff Ginn. Each week, Dr. Ginn gives a brief (1- to 2-minute) video devotional to encourage churches and church leaders.
