2010 Proposed Changes to SBCV Articles of Incorporation & Bylaws

As we look forward to SBCV’s Annual Homecoming November 7-9, there is one business item that needs to be considered. Attached are proposed changes to the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia’s Articles of Incorporation, Constitution, and Bylaws.

What We Believe

The fundamental truths to which we are committed are expressed in the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 with the clarification that the Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God, and is sufficient as our only infallible rule of faith and practice. We deny that other books are inspired by God in the same way as the Bible.

The SBCV 2009 Annual Homecoming was hosted November 8–10 at First Baptist Church, Norfolk. The theme was "Pushing Back the Darkness through Evangelism" based on Acts 19:10.
