Respond now to support Hurricane Isaac Disaster Relief

The media has stopped covering the damage caused by Hurricane Isaac, but the need is great. Families are in need of assistance in protecting (temporary roof covering) and repairing their homes. SBCV Disaster Relief teams will be spending the next several weeks in Louisiana placing temporary blue plastic sheeting on damaged roofs damaged by wind and removing flooring and wallboard in homes that experienced flooding.

Please pray for DR workers responding in Louisiana.

The greatest need in responding to disasters is financial support. Far more effective than donating food and clothing, monetary donations allow us to respond to specific needs, making purchases in bulk and getting the best price while ensuring that needs are met.

NOTE: Should you choose to make a financial contribution to SBCV Disaster Relief, please keep in mind that this gift should not be in lieu of your tithe to your local church, but an addition to it.
