Rebuilding Haiti, one cinder block at a time
Upon return from Haiti, Team Leader, Aubrey Ralph, shares this letter of Praise:
On behalf of the people of Haiti and the members of the Philadelphia Baptist (Church), I thank you for allowing God to use you to facilitate the work of Rebuilding Haiti, one cinder block, one life, one family and one church at a time. Because our Lord Jesus Christ put the elements in place including you and the generosity of SBC of Virginia member churches, the block walls of the Philadelphia Baptist Church -- in a displaced people's camp -- are up, praise God!
I've included some pictures of the construction effort taken by a member of the team. Of particular note, is the picture of the family, although they are not a "building" construction picture, they are one example of the families that the building will serve and an illustration of the spiritual "family" under construction for God' glory. After the worship service on Sunday October 14th, they came to Paul Wallace, a member of our team to thank us for our efforts. Only eternity will reveal how their lives and the lives of the next generation will be impacted by what God will accomplish in this simple cinder block building.
Thanks again for your generous support and for Glorifying God by ministering to the people of Haiti in their hour of need.
Aubrey B Ralph
P.S: We hope to complete and dedicate the building during our December 7-16 trip.
