ServSafe Training - Food safety practices

A ServSafe Class is being offered.  During this class you will learn basic food safety practices for preparing and serving food. 

This training is valuable for Disaster Relief volunteers serving with the Feeding Unit.  Topics during the training include: Basic Food Safety, Personal Hygiene, Cross-contamination and Allergens, Time and Temperature, and Cleaning and Sanitation..

Cost of Training: $15 (does not include cost of book)

The book is required and must have a test answer sheet.  This means everyone needs a new book.

Single copy, with exam answer sheet
former name: ServSafe Essentials

Participants can order the book in advance from or  You must have an unused answer sheet.  There is also the option for participants to purchase the book the day of the event from US Foods.  The cost of the book is $70.30. 

This event is open to Disaster Relief Volunteers first and if room allows to SBC Church Kitchen Managers.
