Base Camps are training and networking conferences for churches who are interested in impacting the unreached and/or unengaged of Sub-Saharan Africa. There are great opportunities to hear testimonies of God's work and pick up practical suggestions and new ministry techniques. Friday, November 1
6:00 p.m. - Registration – Evening session begins at 6:30p.m, including light snack break, concluding at 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, November 2
Morning Session begins at 8:30 a.m., including morning snack and “bring your own” bag lunch
Afternoon Session begins at 1:15 p.m., including light snack break, concluding at 4:00 p.m.
Promotion of this Base Camp is word of mouth. Registration fees have been waived so churches or individuals will be asked to bring his or her personal copies of Base Camp handouts as well as a bag lunch. Drinks will be provided by the host church. E-files of the Base Camp handouts will be emailed to each registered church or individual.
Register by emailing your name and church affiliation to Sub-Saharan Base Camp facilitators, Tom and Cindi Melvin at email@example.com no later than October 28. The sooner the better! If you have questions feel free to contact the Melvins.
Tom and Cindi Melvin, IMB missionaries based in Botswana, are currently serving as Engagement Strategy Team Leaders for the Ocean to Ocean Cluster (O2O). Their ministry areas include Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland and Zimbabwe.
