MISSIONS OPPORTUNITIES:
Grace Community Church in Altavista, a six year old church start that has purchased the old Altavista Elementary School is in need of mission teams to assist in the continued renovation phases in following ways: 1)  Repair of exterior trim and roof leaks of occupied building portion.  2)  Parking Lot patching and repairs.  3)  Assistance with Wednesdays - “Day in the Park” or VBS.  In addition to manual labor, financial and material donations are also welcomed. Mission opportunities give you the chance to get your church directly involved in supporting missions. They help network churches across the state to support specific, highlighted missions throughout the year.

Projects may include things like:

• creating support packages for those in need
• preparing gospel materials for churches and missionaries to use
• sending Bibles and Christian literature to people
  who might not otherwise have access to these resources
• praying and giving to mission-oriented emphases
