Fellowships Will Take a New Look Beginning in August: 
Power Lunches and Breakfasts: 
The Pastor and Staff Fellowships will take a new look beginning in August with Power Lunches and Power Breakfasts when applicable.  The informal setting around the restaurant table will provide a relaxed atmosphere to encourage one another, pray for one another and receive some valuable tools and resources to use in ministry.  In a day with rising gas prices, we see the need to come to you in order to join you in ministry.  More details to come.
Connections: 
In September, November and April we will have a larger evening fellowship called "Connection" at the traditional 3 Central East locations. There will be a fall, Christmas and Spring Connection that will feature good food, fellowship, a guest speaker, testimonies, music and more.
Family Fun Days: 
We will also having a fall family picnic.  It will be a great time together to meet each other's families.

The Veteran of Foreign Wars is sponsoring the motorcycle ride from the Richmond War Memorial, Richmond, VA to the "D" Day memorial in Bedford, VA.  Proceeds will be used to benefit the Child and youth Programs of the Virginia National Guard. 
When:  2 August 2008 Rally at 8:00 AM
Where:  Virginia War Memorial to "D" Day Memorial in Bedford, VA
Cost:  $50.00 per bike $5.00 additional for Rider.  Cars are welcomed

Ministry Experience: Don has served as executive pastor, church administrator, minister of education, and associate pastor in various churches in Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Arkansas, and Virginia.  He has also served as a consultant in Sunday school growth.  Don is a Certified Church Consultant.

Ministry Experience: Larry has served in churches in education, evangelism, and missions. He has also started more than twenty churches and satellites from the local church in Atlanta, Georgia, and served with the North American Mission Board in the church planting division.
