Buckets of Hope Project for Haiti

Buckets of Hope

In early 2010, SBCV churches and members purchased 5-gallon buckets and packed them with rice, cooking oil, black beans, flour, sugar, spaghetti noodles, and peanut butter to help feed Haitian families in need.

The initial SBCV goal of 2,000 buckets was quickly surpassed as SBCV churches gave more than 5,000 buckets.

The Buckets of Hope were collected at regional centers March 5 & 6 and will be shipped by the end of March.

In addition to carrying foodstuffs, each bucket will be labeled with a Gospel message in French Creole.
