The First Annual SBCV Open was held on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Birkdale Golf Club in Midlothian.
The tournament began at 1:00 PM and finished with an awards ceremony and barbecue dinner at Swift Creek Baptist Church in Midlothian.
Proceeds will go to the SBCV Studentz ministry in order to encourage the growth of missions service in the generations of tomorrow.
It was history in the making... The first of it’s kind—but you wouldn’t know it by the turnout.
More than 100 men and women participated in the first Annual SBCV Open. This special golf event was organized by the SBC of Virginia to benefit Student Missions and took place at the Birkdale Golf Club in Midlothian. Twenty Six teams enjoyed near perfect weather during a beautiful day that was capped off with a delicious barbecue dinner and awards.
