Introduction

GPS - God's Plan for Sharing is a national evangelism initiative which calls and equips Southern Baptists to reach North America for Christ by the Year 2020. The SBCV is poised to help our churches reach across Virginia and DC through every believer sharing and every person hearing the Good News of Jesus.

Throughout the next decade, you will hear much about this cooperative effort.

Just imagine the impact of over 500 SBCV churches throughout the year of 2012 doing community reaching coordinated evangelistic events!  Participation is easy!  Reaching Across Virginia is just a few simple steps: 

• Participating churches planning a community reaching event
• Prayerwalking and distributing invitations to the event one to two weeks beforehand (Download postcard for church members: editable .pub version | pdf version)
• Hosting and implementing the community event
• Afterward, doing follow-up with those who attended the event
