Area Missionaries Are Decentralized Throughout Virginia
In order to effectively carry out the SBCV mission to work alongside the local churches and assist them in fulfilling the Great Commission, missionaries have been strategically placed in seven ministry areas.  The Church Enrichment Missionaries and Church Planting Strategists and their families live in Tidewater, Richmond, Greater Washington, Central Virginia, Roanoke Valley and the Southwestern areas in order to be readily accessible to the pastors and churches.  And because the area missionaries office out of their homes, they can provide a missionary presence, consulting, and resources more quickly and efficiently.  The seven ministry areas are North, Greater D.C., Central-East, Central-West, Southeast, Midwest, and Southwest.
