Mobilizing Churches

Campers on Mission

Campers on MissionWhat is Campers on Mission?

Campers on Mission (COM) is a national fellowship of Christian campers who share their faith and serve in various ways while they camp. Sponsored by the Adult Volunteer Mobilization (AVM) Team of the North American Mission Board (NAMB), membership is open to all Christian campers. There is no membership fee.

What do Campers on Mission do?

COM accept short-term volunteer assignments across the United States and Canada. From state fairs and motor speedways to rural campgrounds, COM combine a love of the outdoors with ministry across North America.

Who can join Campers on Mission?

Any adult! Whether single, retired, or newly married, camping enables you to be flexible in witnessing beyond the walls of the church. COM is family friendly and provides a great way to experience the relaxation of vacation with the satisfaction of a mission project. It is a great pathway to become an on-mission family.

COM and the SBC of Virginia

Campers on Mission is an exciting, brand new emphasis among SBCV churches this year. With COM, you and your church will have opportunities to work alongside ministries around the state, combining a passion for the great outdoors with a passion for the great I AM.
