SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The desire of the SBCV is to provide, as possible, financial aid for ministerial students who need financial assistance in completing their seminary education. The aid is limited to the payment of tuition. Applicants will be evaluated on the following criteria: statement of belief, evidence of commitment to the local church, evidence of the call of God in his/her life, and financial need. All final decisions are made by the committee.
Qualifications-Applicant is a full-time seminary student seeking Master of Divinity(Part-time bi-vocational students will be considered by the committee)-Applicant will attend a seminary owned by the Southern Baptist Convention or a Bible college/seminary that maintains a conservative, evangelical statement of beliefs consistent with those held by the SBCV.-Applicant is a member of a participating SBCV church that has given SBCV Cooperative Program funds during the calendar year.-Applicant affirms a belief in the most recent Baptist Faith and Message Statement.
Financial Aid will be awarded on an annual basis. Recipients must maintain an academic standard of at least a āCā average. You must complete and mail a re-application form to the SBCV for each year you want to apply for the financial aid.

Applications must be POSTMARKED ON OR BEFORE APRIL 1ST in order to be considered for either the entire school year or any of its semesters. Incomplete applications will not be considered, and applications will not be accepted for Summer Sessions.
