What is Liberty Link?

Liberty Link is the SBC of Virginia partnering with Liberty University, in an effort to mobilize students to do ministry in SBCV churches around the state. This partnership helps mentor and disciple students who have a heart for God and ministry, but also provides an incredible resource for the church. The SBCV has developed a team of students that are available for churches to request during fall and spring semesters. Liberty Link is organized and operated by the SBC of Virginia and is supported by the Cooperative Program.

Churches wanting to request a Liberty Link Team may complete a Church Request Form. Please make all requests at least 30 days in advance for best opportunity to utilize a team.

Want to Join the Liberty Link TEAM?

What makes Liberty Link unique is that participants have the opportunity to be a part of a team that’s committed to service and the Gospel of Jesus Christ with a team that is fluid. As request come in from SBCV churches, our team meat to pray and prepare for whatever type of event that particular church may need we exist to serve the local church.  Leaders coordinate the trips, so student team members can focus on the opportunity of ministry. Many pastors, staff, and lay people in our SBCV churches have students at Liberty University, so contact us if you have potential students to serve with us.

The Vision

To make much of Christ and glorify him in all that we do sharing his Gospel his Cross by preparing a team to come along side churches all over the state and serve and pour into them!

We are team committed to prayer and the word of God. A team were we do life together, teach, build up, encourage, prepare, and disciple(Gospel Centered). Whether you are going into ministry or a different field altogether, we exist to serve and be ministers of the Gospel of Christ!
