PowerPlant educates and involves students in church planting and evangelism through hands on missions experiences and training sessions.  Want to get involved in a different kind of student mission trip?  PowerPlant participants learn church planting principles and evangelism skills each morning, and then have a chance to engage personally through ministry team activities.  This year was a huge success!  Each church planter that PowerPlant helped raved about how the groups constantly encouraged him during the week.  A total of 4,520 more contacts were attained for church planters in the Richmond area alone!  20 people were led to faith in Christ because of this event and the youth involved.  The impact of the youth coming to help the church planters was felt beyond just the numbers, too.  Leaders and members alike of the church plants were challenged to share their faith with those living in their neighborhoods.  For more information on what PowerPlant is click here.
