The SBCV Women's Ministry exists to reach women for Christ, grow women in their walk with Christ, encourage women to endeavor to be more like Christ, and to involve women, men and families in ministry.

Sue Sawyer is the SBCV Women's Ministries Consultant.  She is also responsible for Mission Projects.  Sue has been on staff with the SBCV for 9 years.  Prior to joining the SBCV staff, she served at Life Action Ministries (with Nancy Leigh DeMoss) in Niles, Michigan for 5 years.   Sue was Director of Evangelism, Outreach, and Women’s Ministries at Bethany Place Baptist Church in Richmond for 7 years prior to moving to Michigan. She has a genuine love for women and a tremendous desire to help them grow in their relationship with the Lord.
Her life verse is Jeremiah 29:11-13, "For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a future and a hope.  Then you will call upon Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.  And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all of your heart."
