Greetings in the amazing name of Christ the King. I hope you and your loved ones have begun to experience God’s presence and blessings in 2020.
SBC of Virginia (SBCV) and Centreville Baptist Church (CBC) are sending a Ministry/Construction Mission Team to Haiti, April 18-26, 2020. If God is speaking to you about serving in Haiti and you are available, please join the April 18-26 team by registering using the SBCV Link below.
The purpose of this trip is to assist Haitian churches Glorifying God by making fully devoted disciples of Jesus Christ who in turn will disciple others.
We will accomplish this by:
- Conducting a VBS for 350 children
- Preparing and serving 1500-1800 meals to needy children
- Building a home for a needy family
- Installing a water supply system for Philadelphia school bathroom facilities
- Completing phase 5 of the Full of Hope church extension by finishing the new roof
- Teaching more than 200 community and church leaders in partnership with World Hope Bible Institute
No special skills or experience are required as God has already provided team members with the technical knowledge and experience to perform these highly skilled tasks; all we need now are volunteers with a servant's heart.
Register today by filling out the Rebuild Haiti Trip Registration form. When we receive your registration, we will promptly reply to you with the additional information needed for the trip.
The total cost of the trip is approximately $1600 (depending on airfare from your location). We have budgeted about $800 for airfare and the other $800 ($100.00 per day) for Haiti in country expenses, such as: accommodations, meals, transportation, translation and security.
