Let’s remember Chris and Rhonda Richard in prayer today. They are International Mission Board missionaries serving in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
They started a simple English club where participants practiced phrases, learned about American culture, and listened to vocabulary lessons. But God had a bigger plan. As part of the class, Chris and Rhonda introduced the “Three Circles” tool for sharing the Gospel. What began as language practice soon turned into evangelism training and a step toward planting a church in their neighborhood.
Rhonda recalls teaching participants how to share their faith in 15 seconds. Many realized they had never put the Gospel into words before. Soon, members began inviting friends and family who didn’t know Christ. The club became a safe place for anyone to hear about Jesus.
One man told Chris he only came because he was amazed that a stranger would open his home to other strangers. That simple act of hospitality drew him to ask questions about Jesus.
Pray for the Richards and the Bible study that has grown from this English club. Ask God to strengthen the group and raise it into a healthy church in Buenos Aires.
