During the Spring 2020 outbreak of the coronavirus, the feeding program at Halifax County Schools was forced to temporarily cease due to an employee who tested positive for COVID-19. Hundreds of people in need in the community depend on this program each week. Pastor Ken Warfield at Fork Baptist Church asked his church to step in and by the end of that same day, the congregation had 12,000 meals ready to be distributed.
This quickly-developed ministry provided many opportunities for the love of Jesus Christ to be shared with the surrounding community.
