When Giovanny Ortiz left El Salvador 20 years ago, his plan was to work for five years, save money, and return home. But God had bigger plans. Today, Ortiz pastors Iglesia Biblica Bautista Emanuel and Crossroads Baptist Church in Leesburg, Virginia—two congregations in two languages but united by the single power of the Gospel.

1,200 students attended YEC 2025 at London Bridge Baptist Church in Virginia Beach. The weekend called students to repentance, to renewal in their commitment towards Christ, and to obedience on the calling on their lives. The time to make Jesus known is now!

The mission field in Virginia has expanded as the world increasingly comes to our doorstep. Our neighborhoods include people from nations with limited or no access to the Gospel. This conference will explore the opportunities God has placed in our region to fulfill the Great Commission locally and globally.
