Session 1 Topic
Understanding Sexuality and Gender Identity Struggles
– Laying the groundwork for understanding the terms related to sexual attraction and gender identity issues as well as understanding the difference between sin and appetite. 

Session 2 Topic
Ministering to Those with Sexuality or Gender Identity Struggles – Practical guidance on how to speak the truth in love to those who struggle with sexuality or gender identity issues.

Dr. Tate Cockrell

Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary

Dr. Tate Cockrell is the Director of Doctor of Ministry Studies, as well as Professor of Counseling and the Fulp Chair of Biblical Counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He has been in ministry for 35 years serving in a variety of roles. He travels throughout the United States and internationally speaking on marriage, family, student ministry, grief, men’s issues, and pastoral health. He is a member of The Summit Church in Raleigh, NC. He has been married to his wife Wendy for 31 years. They have one daughter, Tatum (29), and twin sons, Preston and Spencer (21).
