No matter what a church calls its Bible teaching ministry, the Sunday School Essentials Conference will help attendees revitalize their church’s most important ministry. The Essentials conference is a FREE 2-day conference experience for persons who lead their church’s Bible teaching ministry (lead pastor, discipleship pastor, Minister of Education, Sunday School director). It is especially helpful for leaders who have been in that role less than three years.
Lifeway covers the cost of meals, conference materials, and snacks. Attendees also receive a Pastor’s CSB Bible, plus books related to group ministry. The conference begins at 1:00 PM on day one, and concludes at 4:30 PM on day two.
Ken Braddy, Lifeway’s Director of Sunday School, leads this fast-paced training event. Ken is a published author, blogger, trainer, practitioner, group leader, and Sunday School expert. Attendees are responsible for their travel to and from the event, and for booking their hotel room for one night, if needed. There is no cost to register for this conference. Ken Braddy is the Director of Sunday School for Lifeway Christian Resources and author of Breakthrough: Creating a New Scorecard for Group Ministry Success. Braddy manages the work of the editorial teams that create all of the ongoing Bible studies that Lifeway produces for adults, such as Bible Studies For Life, Explore The Bible, MasterWork, The Gospel Project, YOU, and more. Through Ken’s work at Lifeway, and the hard work of the men and women on his team, he has the privilege of serving the Bible study needs of approximately 2.5-3 million adults each week.
