Ministry Description

The Associate Pastor of Children’s Ministry is accountable for the development and oversight of all SCBC ministries pertaining to Preschoolers & Children (infants through grade 5), including but not limited to:

· Connect groups (Sunday School)

· Children’s Church

· Sunday Evening Ministries

· Wednesday Evening Ministries

· Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

· Vacation Bible School (VBS)

· Divorce Care for Kids (DC4K)

In addition, the Associate Pastor also provides support to other ministry areas of SCBC through coordination of childcare, provision of curriculum/supplies and/or instructional support, including but not limited to:

· Preschool & Children’s Choirs

· Ladies Bible Study

· Adult Choir Rehearsal

· Special Needs Ministry

· Church-wide Services & Special Events

Ministry Requirements

GPA: 3.0 or higher
Gender: Male
2-5 years of experience
Preferably married

Schedule and Compensation

$50,000+ per year
