When He saw the crowds, He felt compassion for them, because they were weary and worn out, like sheep without a shepherd.” (Matthew 9:36)
Jesus saw the crowds. He didn’t just see a large group of people, but he saw individuals and their needs. He said they were weary and worn out. Jesus can look at a crowd and see each individual person that makes up the crowd. Oftentimes, we get distracted by the crowd and do not see the individuals. By doing this we miss seeing the needs of the individuals. Every single one of them have something going on in their lives. It maybe they just received news of a terminal diagnosis, they may be having issues with their spouse, children, or parents, or they just lost their job.
If we don’t look through the eyes of Jesus then we may miss the opportunity to minister to those in need. Will you start looking today for opportunities to minister to people, who are in the crowd? If you will, then God will bless you as minister to others.
