Today we are going to New York City so we can pray for two of our North American missionaries planting a new church in The Bronx. They are Ramny and Davami Perez.
Their new church is Fordham Community Church and it is meeting in the Fordham section of The Bronx.
Where’s that? Well, if you go to New York City and to Manhattan, and if you started walking north from the north side of Central Park, eventually you’d come to Yankee Stadium. Keep walking and you’d get to 2439 Creston Avenue. It’s a busy city street like most here — with residents from everywhere. This is where the church meets.
Ramny was born in the Dominican Republic, which is in the Caribbean. But he grew up in New York. This is home for him. It’s where he and Davami are raising their son.
One day he hopes their church will become a Kingdom family that displays the love of Christ. He knows getting there will require lots of evangelism and lots of discipleship.
Our church supports our missionaries, Ramny and Davami, through our Cooperative Program giving.
Let’s ask God to give Ramny His vision there in The Bronx.
