David Bounds has a great desire to assist the church in preparing for the Lord’s return. His passion infuses his daily life so much so that his life verse is Philippians 3:14, “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Following his calling, David is the regional associate for the Southeast Region of the SBC of Virginia. He has spent more than 40 years in ministry as a pastor, counselor, and director of a parachurch ministry. David is a graduate of Liberty Baptist College (now Liberty University) with a bachelor’s in pastoral ministries.
