“There is a great need for Hispanics to know God,” said Carlos Payan, pastor of Iglesia Las Americas in Lynchburg. “We need to plant more churches, we need to train leaders, and we need to reach the world with the Gospel of Jesus. It is important to come to these conferences because we get trained, encouraged, and taught ways the Hispanics can be a blessing to other nations.”
Payan was part of the 240 in attendance that represented 20 Hispanic churches at the 2016 SBCV Hispanic Conference in Richmond. The theme of Unity was the focus throughout that included workshops to equip church leaders. Vision Virginia helps provide vital Spanish resources like this one across the state.
