David Morton
After graduating in 2005 from the college at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (now Judson College), David began his ministry as a worship pastor in small, rural churches in North Carolina, where he developed a deep passion for the local church.
With over 20 years of experience, David is a seasoned worship pastor who has led worship in a variety of settings, ranging from small-town, rural congregations to large, multi-campus ministries. His heart is to see a culture of worship and discipleship take root, and his ministry is focused on helping congregations draw closer to the Lord through both personal and corporate worship.
As a songwriter, David has written and recorded his own music, but believes that God has called him to write and choose songs that speak directly to the needs of the local church. He is dedicated to equipping others in worship ministry, particularly churches with limited resources, by providing encouragement and practical guidance on how to develop strong worship teams, build leadership, and inspire volunteers.
David and his wife Becki have been married for almost 20 years and are blessed with three wonderful children: Eden, Asher, and Hadassah.
