Central-West & Southside is home to the Hill City, Bedford, Danville, and Appomattox, many of whom live in a handful of more densely populated areas surrounded by the Virginia mountains and rolling foothills. The SBC of Virginia has placed missionaries strategically in these population centers, but also maintains a presence and a heart for communities tucked away in more secluded areas.
