The rolling hills, foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, farmland, woods, and urban areas of Central Region are home to more than one and a half million people, and include the cities along the interstate 95 and 64  corridor of Richmond, Colonial Heights, Petersburg and Charlottesville.

The Central Region is the home of our State Capitol, historic Monticello and the SBC of Virginia Ministry Center.
