Craig and Maggie Coppenbarger are church planters on Oahu, Hawaii, focused on reaching the more than 200,000 active-duty service members and their families stationed there. Fewer than 10 percent of these families report having a personal relationship with Jesus. That’s what drives Craig and Maggie to plant Valor Church.
With over 20 years of combined military and ministry experience, Craig understands the unique stress of military life, including combat deployments. Maggie, a military spouse herself, offers care and connection to other wives navigating similar challenges.
The Coppenbargers have already planted two churches and trained others to do the same. Now, they’re building a church designed specifically for military families; people who move often and face pressures most of us never experience.
Their four children are part of the mission, building relationships with other military kids and learning what it means to serve. Together, the Coppenbarger family is creating a church that multiplies disciples who carry the Gospel wherever the military sends them.
Our church supports Craig and Maggie through the Cooperative Program. Pray for open doors, deep discipleship, and lasting impact among military families.
