Financial Secretary for a church that has a daycare with approximately 150 children and a school with 120 students.
Our Financial Secretary is retiring after 30 years of faithful service. The Financial Secretary at New Bridge BC will handle all related financial transactions and bookkeeping for all three entities (church, daycare, and school) including, but not limited to:
* Computer bookkeeping including payroll, taxes, W-2 prep, and accounts payable
*Receive and process all invoices and payments
*Prepare monthly financial statements and Stewardship Committee reports and attend Stewardship meetings
*Post contributions to members' individual accounts and send semi-annual statements to contributing members
*Receive deposits from Teller's Committee and all other monies received. Make all necessary bank deposits
*Maintain records for personnel vacation and personal leave.
*Assist Church Administrator in church budget preparation
- Must have previous experience in a finance-related field and/or bookkeeping.
- Must be an active member of a local church (not a requirement to be a member of New Bridge Church).
- Must have outstanding character and voluntarily submit to a Ministry Team Code of Conduct.
$36,000-$42,000, depending upon experience and education
