Tyler and Hannah Trusley planted Cross Church El Mirage in El Mirage, Arizona, a diverse community with people from many ethnicities, economic backgrounds, and life experiences.
“We minister to people of all ethnicities, economic situations, and experiences,” Tyler said. “It’s a super rewarding type of ministry and reminds us of the diversity we will see in heaven someday!”
Cross Church began in a building where a previous church had closed. Since then, God has blessed the ministry. The Trusleys are now prayerfully considering adding services, planting nearby churches, and raising up new leaders.
Tyler shared a favorite story about a young man who moved to the area after military service. “Out of a brief connection, he came to the church, was discipled, got married, baptized his wife, and is now in a residency program exploring ministry. It’s a reminder that God can do things that seem wild or impossible on a daily basis.”
Through the Cooperative Program, our church helps support the Trusleys’ ministry in El Mirage. Pray that God will continue opening doors for connections and ministry opportunities in El Mirage.
