Today, Ortiz pastors Iglesia Biblica Bautista Emanuel and Crossroads Baptist Church in Leesburg, Virginia—two congregations in two languages but united by the single power of the Gospel.

When Tiara Utley discovered she was pregnant, she questioned whether or not she should mother this child. That was until she received biblical counsel from Care Net Peninsula in Newport News.

“We are here to serve, and we do it with a smile on our face,” shared Carol Mercedes. She is one of the dozens of volunteers that make it possible for families in need to receive food through the feeding ministry of Hyland Heights Baptist Church in Rustburg, Virginia.
