Mobilizing Churches

Mobilizing Churches is Centered on Missions

Through Mobilizing Churches, the SBC of Virginia continues its endeavor to educate and mobilize church volunteers in SBC cooperative missions. To do this, we seek to network local church key leaders, utilize missions specialists to assist local churches, provide a missions webpage, develop mission partnerships among churches, and provide aid in disaster relief and Baptist Builders efforts. Churches are encouraged to embrace the Acts 1:8 Challenge by reaching their Jerusalem (community), Judea (Commonwealth), Samaria (country), and to the ends of the earth (continents).

Missions Scholarship Drawing

During this year's SBCV Annual Homecoming, messengers and guests were given the opportunity to participate in a 12-booth Missions Fair, watch a brand-new feature video on Baptist Builders, hear about the work God is doing through Disaster Relief and Families on Mission, and enter a drawing for up to $1000 in mission trip scholarships.
