Now I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” (Acts 20:32)
There are many people who are unlikely heroes but really are. A hero is someone who serves others with no thought of return. They don’t look like bodybuilders or supermodels. They aren’t superstars or billionaires. They are simple people.
The lady who gives unselfishly to help others.
The person willing to serve and will do whatever is asked.
The man who helps people in need and finds many more resources.
The kid who got a new backpack and realizes a friend didn’t, but they make sure their friend gets what they need.
I am grateful that in my line of work that I meet lots of superheroes. It is even more exciting when I get to help them do even more.
God calls us to help, serve, encourage, and build others. This happens because God is for people. He is about giving hope where there seems to be very little.
May we get to see superheroes in action and be all for the glory of God.
