Over 400 women gathered together at Bethel Baptist Church in Yorktown for the Equip Women's Conference. Being challenged by Rachel Lovingood and others, these women worshipped together, heard from guest speakers, attended relevant and informative breakout sessions, and fellowshipped with each other.

Join biblical culturalist Kristi McLelland as she transports us back to the dusty roads where Jesus walked, following in the footsteps of the women who came face to face with the Living God.

Focusing on the “self” as a resource entrusted to us by God, we will dive into what it means to maximize our potential as leaders. Through looking into our own habits and lives to see how we can properly take care of the bodies God has given us, we will live and thrive more effectively for His glory.

In today’s world, it’s easy to feel as though your voice is drowning in a sea of other voices that appear far more relevant than your own. How do we know God’s will for our lives? How do we know what God is calling us to? We’ll take a deeper look at Paul’s answers to these questions in his letter of 1 Thessalonians.

When faced with difficult situations in our lives, God’s promises are the blessings we long for, but they seem difficult to receive. What stands in the way? Why do some seem to see God’s hand helping at every turn while others struggle to experience God’s blessings? We will look to Jacob to discover patterns that are keeping us from greater growth and trust.

As we face the challenges of various seasons, focusing on God’s promises develops a deeper faith, a confidence of God’s presence, and assurance that we are not alone.
